Base Dilemma?

Just had Saints 1984 done by Alex ( OGI )
Which base would you go for?



From left to right ( 1 to 4 )

Hard choice ...

... though I've plumped for "1"

My reasons:

1. If there are two main colours in the team kit, I prefer the socks to contrast with the inner disc as I feel this allows the figure to stand out more

2. The light blue on base "1" seems closer in colour to the light blue on kit (as opposed to "3").

3. "2" is also a nice combo, but more dull.

4. While "4" is attractive, it appears more like the base for a spare, kicking GK.

BTW, what is the lettering on the base discs?

I've gone for number2 because that was the one I was immediately drawn to. The light inner seems to make the player stand out more for me as there is quite a lot of dark blue on the kit. Having said that the first three are all reasonable.

I too, like the light blue on the first, but wish the disc could be the same colour as the base on the second option.

I wanted to see the 'all green' option because I thought it might make the actual figures stand out more, as if they were free standing on the pitch ( if that makes any sense ).
I also like the green option because it is so different.

Hmmm ... what to do.

I think I can rule out 3, as both blues seem to be slightly off target.

The general consensus seems to be number 2, and that is what I went for in the end.
It's just a shame that I can't seem to find a base or disc that really nails both colours.



But the team is fantastic! Alex ( ogi71 ) has done yet another great job.
