| In addition to all the ROY OF THE ROVERS talk, how many of you remember a magazine called SCOOP? | |

| Does anybody recall the fantasy league they featured. It was basically made up of different areas of the country and named accordingly. South Coast City had players from Saints, Portsmouth and Brighton etc North London had players from Arsenal and Spurs Everpool City had players from Everton and Liverpool Northern Town had players from Boro, Newcastle and Sunderland Manchester Town had players from City and United Can anybody remember the other teams? They had a match report, scores and scorers each week. | |

| Seem to remember getting "SCORCHER" in the late 60s / maybe early 70s, as well as "VICTOR", although the latter was more of a war / action comic. Chris | |

| Can't remember 'Scoop' either...where was I? The only scoop i had, was one with nuts and chocolate sauce on top RotR's and T&S and Shoot were my only memories. What was that ice cream called with the bubble gum at the bottom? Used to love those on the way home from school... | |

| Don't remember 'Book of Football' Skell?
Spud ...
I have the complete three volumes of 'Football Handbook' in the original green binders. Think it was late seventies / early eighties.

| Football Handbook was indeed late 70's remember it well - still trying in vain to pick up issue 1 with the fold out poster of europe highlighting such exotic names as Anderlecht & Saint Etienne you had to butcher the mags though to cut out the team badges and stick them on happy days | |
