brown boxed accessories

a couple of years ago i picked up some late fifties ir early sixties accessories.

these all came in non branded brown boxes and what i love about it is that its just so simple and predates the heavy marketing techniques.

the ball shute is bizarre in transparent plastic

the fives pitch with subbuteo branded postage label is mint - it looks like it has not ever been used

very nice..I'm not one for keeping boxes or indeed collecting accesories of any sort but we do have some small balls and standard goals still boxed in Brown boxes

has a certain simple charm though doesnt it ralph? you know,all about content and not about the marketing

Yes I see where you're coming from on this one..I only found the small balls box fairly recently left in the bottom of a drawer..I do like the old goals best though appearance wise plus you can fasten them down more easily than the later plastic ones..
