| Thought i would start a thread showing pics of Football kits, especially from the 70's and 80's that some of us enthusiasts would find interesting. Start with Arnold Muhren in a 1972 Ajax away kit. Navy Blue with red and white trim. The socks were red with white roll over. I can't find the pic showing that, but i have it somewhere. I'm sure Jim will appreciate this..  Ajax away 1971 and 1978   I think this is 1973 Ajax away  | |

| I've seen someone do it in pink and red, as the red pinstripes on white, from a distance looks like a pink half of the shirt. It was quiet effective.
I did the same with the Pisa kit, which was light blue. | |

| I tried to do it once, a couple of years ago - the results weren't that good tbh.
Instead I bought the machine printed lw version - not a bad representation. | |

| Here's an interesting kit. SC Heerenveen 1970/71 It's odd how so many Dutch players of the 70's wore glasses. The red marks on the shirt represent Waterlillies.   | |

| Talking about glasses, have a look at this Amiens (1973-74) team photo - the guy on right of the front row has the best specs ever. Looks more like a skinny Carlos the Jackal than a footballer.  | |

|  I remember seeing that photo before...the whole team looks weird. Harry Enfield wearing a tash 4th from left, then there's Mr Weirwolf. And can you imagine having to clean the bath out, after the Great Silver back, top row 2nd from right, has done his business. | |
