1. A goalkeeper can be held in any position, or at any angle, as long as the base is touching the pitch before the shot is taken
2. After the shot has been taken, the goalkeeper can be raised off the pitch or moved sideways
3. The goalkeeper cannot be moved quickly from side to side
4. The goalkeeper is not allowed outside goalkeeper area ( 6 yard box )
If a player touches the ball outside the goalkeeper area with the goalkeeper, the player should first be warned, and thereafter concede a PENALTY KICK
If this violation is deemed to be intentional, a PENALTY KICK can be awarded straight away
5. If the goalkeeper has stopped the ball and then chooses to push it out or move it inside the goalkeeper area, the defending player can have a defensive blocking flick
6. The flicking goalkeeper can only be introduced when in possession, but the rodded goalkeeper must be removed from the pitch first
7. The flicking goalkeeper operates in much the same way as any other outfield figure, and is subject to the same rules
8. If the flicking goalkeeper misses the ball or loses possession, it is kept on the pitch where it finished up, and the player is forced to play without a regular goalkeeper
9. The opposing team get three flicks with one figure in which to score
10. After the three flicks, or if the attacker wishes to use a different figure to continue the play, the defending player is afforded time to put back the rodded goalkeeper and remove the flicking goalkeeper from the action
