TS bases and figures.

I painted these about 2 years ago. Authentic 'Kent Housewife' outworker style. I think they have some charm...nostalgia from the original 1970's... :up:

Nice kit Spud. I like the 'Kent Style' painting.

I find it hard to achieve the true 'Kent' look as it is hard to let go and not paint neatly. I tend to paint stuff for myself in what I call 'neat Kent' style. I feel heavyweights just look wrong if they are too neat. At the end of the day they are not models and I don't like them to look like they should be in a display cabinet. They belong on the baize.

Yes...There are some great kits out there as Ian pointed out. I too prefer to original outworker look, especially on HW's. It has a charm all of it's own. For some reason too neat, looks sterile to me. Glad you guys appreciate them too. Each to their own of course...
