Jason Puncheon has been integrated back into the squad also, and given that Cortese had left him to rot, it's a bit like a new signing.
The dip in form in recent months hasn't been a surprise with Connolly, Lallana, Fonte, Chaplow, Seabourne, Hoisveld and Barnard all been out with injuries, and the untimely Lambert suspension, but optimistic Saints can find their way again. Shame Lallana missed an absolute golden opportunity at the death to take all three points last night.
