Already cleared it with my wife for Sunday and even if I miss a connecting flight, I will still make it back Saturday evening at the latest. Having not played since the last meet in February and that was my first chance at playing since the previous August, have every intention of making it especially as the last meet was a great day out and it looks like this next day will give me another chance to put faces to names of people I have conversed and/or traded with on subbuteoforum and ebay. Good to hear that Spudski is back because I would like to see if he could paint a couple of teams for us and would be pleased to see if Jim had any good teams left over from Maidenhead.

Looks like there will be some good players there again this week so my loss ratio is likely to be even higher but it will still be a good day.

Absolute pleasure today, lads. Thoroughly enjoyed every game.
Playing 'small ball' was a treat, Jim. Definitely up for that again.
It was nice to have more 'chin wag' time also. Much more relaxed, and good to take time out to savour the flavour.

Yes mate...really enjoyed meeting up again. Shame it's going to be a while before the next time. Gonna miss you guys. Great to think we've been going 3 years now though. Really enjoyed our game too. Two great goals...both top corners from distance and a bang on penalty...loved it mate. Felt like a proper football match...just as it should be. Appreciated...

Good to know about your Dad Lee. Missed seeing you today. My Dad had a heart attack whilst i was away in Canada. Only found out when i got back He's ok now...but it makes you think doesn't it mate. Keep well bud.

Another great day out and great to meet some new faces. Some good fun, I don't think I have ever laughed so much during a game as I did when I played Jim - still thinking about the exquisite tight spin he played to get one of his players onto the ball just outside the 6 yard box only to smash his shot against my goalie!

Venue worked well and the condensation dripping on to the pitch added a touch of realism to my game with John P.

Regarding DVDs, I can gladly give the 1976 Cup Final a miss but could always bring season highlights from the Premiership for 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011.
