Bacup Borough of the North West Counties League were due to play SIX games in SIX days this week five of them at home...tonights game with Winsford has been postponed due to torrential rain....unbelievable Laughing

they won the Cup Final 5-0 on Thursday played League games Friday and Saturday..however they refused to play Colne !!

Bacup Borough v Colne - Statement





The Management Committee of The North West Counties Football League wish to issue the following statement in relation to the postponed Premier Division match between Bacup Borough and Colne on Wednesday evening.

As a result of Bacup Borough’s refusal to play their league game against Colne on Wednesday 2 May 2012, the matter has been referred to the League Management Committee for consideration. The Club is expected to be charged with failing to fulfil a fixture as per League Rule 8.6

No further comment will be made by The North West Counties Football League Management Committee at this time.
