My first paint job...AFC Bournemouth away 2012/13

Posted this on the green forum but not sure who frequents it as there seems to be so many subby sites
This is my first effort at painting a team,although i was a pretty good airfix painter many years ago!
I like this kit its our new away kit and thought it would translate well to Subbuteo.
I used Stefan Corda 2k4 figures on Parodi bases which were on offer at subbuteoworld.
Bases arent the best they didnt seem to snap together too well and need glueing so i am trying Santiagos next.
Hardest part was painting the collars,but i found the sash pretty easy.
Question is,do i spray them in satin varnish for protection or leave matt?
Opinions and comments welcome!!

Very fine effort mate , and like Lee says leave 'em as they are .
Santiagos , better figure , better bases imo

Nice work. Yep leave them, or Matt varnish if you feel you must.
