After recent heavy rain the pitch at Goldstone Lane has turned into a quagmire.

I used some of the cheap acrylic paint which is very liquid and ideal for the job. Played a couple of games and it works really well. Not a pitch for playing the ball in the area, best to hoof it. The ball bobbles about and player and ball can actually get 'stuck' with the more subtle touches.

The idea is to use it for solo cup games with non league teams.
