| Still painting but as a little taster here is Roy. I always find its a good idea to take some photo's as it shows up the bits that need attention. Will post up the whole team tomorrow. By gullseye at 2011-07-20 By gullseye at 2011-07-20 | |

| So that's what it looks like...Good effort mate. I like it a lot. The only thing i would have done different would have been black boots and hair. But non the less... a great looking team | |

| Thanks, guys!
You're right about the black boots and hair ...
For some reason I had a team that was 'fleshed' and had brown hair/boots. Quite why I had done this I don't know (I usually leave hair/boots to the end).
But .... I reckoned this would be a practice run, so I'll use up the figures that have been already fleshed.
Next time ........ | |

| The more kits i see from the RoR's comic's, the more i think SSG really missed a trick. Nearly every kid i knew as a child, either read this or Tiger which had Mike's Mini Men. If SSG had produced Teams from these comics, i'm sure they would have sold a bundle. Especially as many of the them are nicer than 'actual' Football Teams. Here are three from the 1970 Mexico Summer Cup that Melchester played in to celebrate the opening of the New Saladoria Stadium... I certainly would have bought these as a kid... Hope you like. Porgual Real,Belgrania Red Star,Norvorich Spartak., Summer 1970 Mexico Cup | |

| Nice stuff Spud. You haven't got the Roy of the Rovers World Cup Special by any chance have you ? Funnily enough I've just bought a copy from 'The Works' which features the above teams, £2.99 a real bargain. | |

| The speed at which you flick that brush around never ceases to amaze. I don't know how the paint stays on the brush | |

| You've got to paint like an outworker mate. Fast as you possibly can. That way, you get an authentic look. It's mixing the paint that takes the longest. The actual painting takes no time at all. Especially if you use the right sizr brushes. Keep practicing mate. | |

| terrible club names from the writers... but beautifully done said the man who has spent too much of his life making up convincing names for obscure foreign football clubs..on the off chance they draw one of my clubs in Europe ! | |
