1. The shooting figure must be fully inside the attacking half of the pitch, and the ball must be fully inside the shooting zone
If the ball is kicked into the net from outside the shooting zone, a goal kick is awarded to the defender, unless the goalkeeper attempts to save and touches the ball, in which case an own goal is scored
If the ball is shot from outside the shooting zone, and the ball comes off the goalkeeper, it is a goal kick
If the ball is shot from outside the shooting zone, and the goalkeeper makes an active save, forcing the ball out behind the goal, a corner kick is awarded
2. Own goals can be scored from anywhere on the pitch
3. If a defensive blocking flick scores an own goal, it will count
4. If a defensive blocking flick puts the ball out of play, the attacker can take the set play or demand a 'back'
