| Has anybody played with these Wembley style goals, and if so, what are they like? | |

| Just bought some, NGD. They're nicely done, with hooks in good positions for tidying up the net nicely. Very neat, but not sure I love them enough to use them ahead of others. I DO like a good net bulge when a goal is scored. | |

| There are 2 small hooks at the back of the stantions too, around the mid point, to help you tidy up the seam. I haven't trimmed this net up yet or wound the seam together ( which I would normally do ) - but you get the idea. | |

| They don't look bad Steve , nets are far too tight , but could sort that , actual goal design looks quite good to me.How much did they cost ?

| The look brittle. I daren't try, tbh.
I'll bring them to the next Lionhearts gig if you like, and you can check them out, Jim. | |

| Yes, Jim. Just given the bar, posts and stantions a good flex. So flexible they are. | |

| There a two bits that stick out along the back of the stantion, where the netting on the side and back can be hooked, allowing you to tighten it all up, as opposed just being gathered up in the corner and hooked at the base alone. Will take a picture of the back without a net when I get home, Will, without the net on.

| I personally like to trim the excess off the net. Then take cotton and weave it in and out of the back and side netting edge to knit them neatly together. I'm just a fussy git like that. It's also a nice touch to weave cotton elastic through the bottom run of squares and tie off under the base. The effect being, you lift it to slide your keeper under and it will then immediately ping back down to cuddle up to the baize. | |
