1. A corner kick is awarded after any of the following situations ...
The ball is flicked by an attacker, touches a defender and goes over the goal line, providing the defending figure and ball are both in the shooting zone and the attacking figure is in the attacking half of the pitch
Otherwise a goal kick is awarded
When a figure, from anywhere on the pitch, kicks the ball over it's own goal line
The goalkeeper deflects the ball wide and over the goal line, regardless of where the ball is flicked from
2. The corner kick procedure is as follows ...
The taker is selected by the attacking player
The attacking player makes three positional flicks
The defending player then counters with three positional flicks also
3. No defending figure can be within 90mm of the corner kick
4. If the taker ends up in an offside position, an 'automatic flick' is permitted to put the figure onside
No defensive flick is allowed after an AUTOMATIC FLICK ( applicable to throw in and corner kick )
5. If the attacker chooses to strike the moving ball with another figure, the figure in an offside position is considered to be passive and not penalised for being in an offside position. In this scenario, there is no need for the attacking player to take advantage of the 'automatic flick' option
