chaps i am helping adam douglas ( flick ) to promote his competition which is being supported by santiago
most of you have possibly seen this on the green forum but i want to try and help adam make a success of this
also we need more sellers so come guys for £4 you couldhave a clear out and generate more cash to buy more subbuteo!!

i have had a few questions regarding this tournament on the green forum , so i asked adam who is organising it to clarify the set up for the day

Hope all is well. The tournament will start at 9.30, teams will be issued once team is picked from hat. No one will be able to select their teams, all teams will be potluck.
Once teams have been distrubuted the tournament will start most likely around 10am. Each player will pay a £15.00 entry fee, this is broken down in two parts £5.00 for entry and £10.00 for team which will be redemable if anyone doesnt want.

This is a joint tournament between Essex Table football and Santiago table soccer. Mark Parker will be organising the fixtures for the day and will also be selling Santiago merchandise as also will be yourself. Sellers tables will be set up at doorway entrance and be out throughout the day whilst tournament is being played. Anyone who has played in a Santiago tournament before, this tournament will be exactly the same.

I think each player will get three or four games in each group, there will be eight tables present so everyone will be playing so there is no delays. Fixtures will be present throughout day so people can see whos playing who. The top two of each group who qualify will go into the main competition and runners up will go into the plate tournament.

Once the group games are complete we will have lunch which will be around 1hr and 30mins. Food and refreshments will be provided at a reasnable cost. Most likely teas, coffees, cold drinks, hotdogs, rolls, pasties, sausage rolls, cakes and biscuits.

Hopefully day should finish about four thirty or five at the latest.

Can't help but think this tournament should be an evening event with lighting!

And some small tickatape alternative ( that wouldn't effect the play ) on the pitches would be great!

guys we have one space left , reg has had to pull out of the tournament

for everyone who is travelling by public transport needs to get train to chingford station . walk out station turn right go down steps to bus garage . 212 bus to friday hill . get off at closest bus stop to the sirloin public house ( check with driver what stop to get off at ) and venue is across the road 2 min walk . this no more than a 5-10 mins journey on the bus
