still trying top get my head round dux bases - the only difference I've ever seen on bases is that some seem a little thicker up against the inner base
eg -
so is this a dux base ????

DUX bases are HW bases that are mistakes in the casting process.
They generally have a little warping, but the profile is generally lower. Hense they are easier to chip with. Usually found on late 60's early 70's teams.

Here you go lads...
Normal Subbuteo HW base on the left. HW DUX base on the right.
I use the DUX bases for playing with if possible.
