| To win last night without Lallana was immense. Saints scored a perfectly good second goal too, but it was ruled out because of a foul on a Saints player just before De Ridder finished :-( The January transfer window should see them strengthen further. A striker for sure. We are looking good, if we can stay relatively injury free until then. Seem to have played an even split of teams in the top and bottom half, but the majority of the top teams have been away games ... Leicester, Cardiff, Derby, Ipswich Hit five against Ipswich, and by all accounts, we should have scored about the same at Derby. Lads seem to be scoring freely at the moment. Infact, they haven't yet drawn a blank this season. So definitely cause for optimism with regard to a top six spot, Ian. Yes, you're right of course, winning runs have to end sooner or later. Usually just after somebody has gobbed off. So Reading fans should be upbeat about our encounter on Saturday. | |

| Would be good to see you go up tbh mate...would give hope to a lot of teams. It's staying up and not going bankrupt that's the problem. I went to Crystal Palace yesterday to watch my lot. Worst standard of football i've ever seen from two Championship teams...and Palace are now 5th From what i've seen this season, the standards all round have dropped. Don't know why. Best bit yesterday was the Buckaneers Cheerleaders at half time...truely awesome | |
