Dear All,

Can anyone help in posting this pic. Have gone around in circles
with the one that is connected to the board. And It don't seem
to like the above link.

Perhaps it might work now.

Also I'm looking for some floodlights. Any tips would be most welcome!

Take care, all the very best

Dear G,

Thank you for the kind comments. About a week after that photo the main stand
fell of the table - it was in slow motion! I thought I could just stick it back together
but it wouldn't happen. So it was redesigned and rebuilt, all the stands are painted now.
And I will sticking the spectators in next - with blue tak.

Will be getting the floodlights next - the real challenge is going to be the video system.
Something I have discussed with Steve a few times. It won't be as extensive as the Stade
De Fingers - that blimp is something else! This will be more like a fly cam!

Its never ceased to amaze me how a goal can come out of nowhere. Just like the real game!
Hence my interest in recording the games. When I get the time I will sort out my fixture list for the World Club Cup that I'm playing.

I need about 15 more teams to bring it up to 100 clubs. And the stadium as now got a name.
The Argyle Road Stadium - which is where I first played the game - back in Dec 1966!

Although the Nearly Done stadium as got a nice ring!!!

Take care, all the very best
Ray

Dear G,

The half size pitch was the only option. Just don't have the room for a full size
pitch. If Subbuteo had cottoned on to this problem - back in the day the game might
be more popular. Playing the game is more important than the size of the pitch!

And you get a great atmosphere at the Argyle Road stadium - a tight little ground
etc etc....

Photos soon!
All the very best
