Do you know what, Gully, I had taken my eye off the transfer action once we had secured the three we were after.

I see that Dean Hammond has joined Albion, and also notice Billy Sharp has gone to Forest on loan with a view to a permanent move. Not surprised to see Hammond go, as he seemed to figure less toward the end of the season.

Billy Sharp has been scoring in pre-season, but to be honest, for a solid guy, he doesn't appear to be very strong, and not very quick. So not surprised to see him go out on loan from an ability perspective, but it was a bit of a shocker given he's only been with us five minutes. They must have just been looking for a quick fix to help them over the line in the Championship run-in last season?

It all went crazy for us with four players coming in and Craig Noone going to Cardiff for seven figures. Apparently Charlton made a bid for Hammond which alerted Poyet.

Jon Rosten ( Subby Forever ) was topscorer this weekend with 7 POINTS. Two correct scores helped the Leeds United fan open up a 7 POINT gap at the tob of the table. That said, THE CHAMP ( Spurs1975 ) is already in hot pursuit!

ESSGEE scored just one miserable point and it was one the Saints fan didn't particularly want! The former Champion, and last year's Runner Up doesn't appear to be match fit at present!
