League Directory 1985

I put these up on the Italian forum ... pages 1 and 2 ... not the best copies but you get the idea ... this is the work of the top man not me !!

Nice to have the history to go with all these clubs. Has to be the oldest Subbuteo League in the world, blimey its been running longer than Coronation Street and only just beaten by The Archers.

Have the colours always remained the same?

The colours don' t change much..looking at those sheets which are about 27 years old now only 3 have changed .. I don't take much notice of the change colours we tend to play fixtures where teams can both be played in their first choice strip..plus in this league we almost always use cellys and producing a new team can be hard work..I change the Scots more often as its easier to buy a new HW or Santiago but I also sometimes use cellys for those games if we have the right pattern

This is what really captured my imagination, Ralph. The whole adventure becomes a kind of glimpse into a parallel universe, an alternative history in the making.
