None of my business I know, but i'm suprised some of the English lads who play regularly for the Lionhearts haven't given their places to our Italian friends who are willing to make the effort and come over and support the event.

I know they've done this when English lads have gone over to Italy to play.

So how's the skiing going?

Thing is ian the only english player who is playing at maidenhead who has been to lionhearts more than the once is lee. No one else from lionhearts is down to play. I myself have pulled out to allow others to play and so as to concentrate on organising the event

Apologies my mistake then. Just felt for the Italian guys.

I know some of them can't commit early enough because of work. Shame as it's a catch 22.

Skiing is going good bud...plenty of snow to keep me happy.

yep if i knew we have 36 players well in advance then i could seek a bigger venue but then the problem i have is getting the right number of tables. 10 is managable but more than that is stretching my resources a bit too far.

as you say alot of people wont commit months before so it is a catch 22.

folks,

31/1 i had a major healthscare and i have had to have an emergency stomach op.

glad to say all went well and i came home from hospital on wednesday and i am now taking it easy recovering.

all very scary but thankfully i am ok.



what this means for the tournie is i am not going to be allowed to lift/move playing tables so unless people come forward to guarantee help on the friday before and monday afterward moving tables into and out of the venue from bracknell/maidenhead and back again then i am afraid i will have to cancel the tournie part of the day.

so this is an appeal to anyone who can come forward to move 8 tables around on friday 9th march,sunday 11th march and monday 12th march

please let me know urgently

Get well Jon, no rush at all.
Me and Huck are coming up there in London East area on Thursday and leaving on Monday. If someone could get us a lift from our hotel maybe we can help to sort things out.
