Inter Club Challange

Lads, I was asked by Adam from the WRP7 club ( link http://wrp7.webeden.co.uk/) whether the Lionhearts would be up for a Inter Club Challenge...

Cool...Adam is also keen for him and a couple of the WRP7 crew to come and play in some of out Tournies, which would be good.

how old is this thread! I'm reviving it! Laughing

I'm sure at some point in the not too distant future we can arrange an inter club between The Lionhearts and WRP7. Our season has finished for the summer, start again end of August 2011 (hopefully), so maybe we could get something arranged for this Autumn (2011 that is, only a year later than originally planned but hey ho!).

We'd be happy to have it at ours, we've got space for 4 tables, maybe 5 at a push. The pub we play in can accomodate us on a Saturday daytime no problem. It serves beer and does food so that's all good! If we do it on a Saturday it'll prob be best if we do it on a non-footballing saturday as know a fair few of you guys go to games regularly. Just let me know your thoughts and we can get something sorted

If distance between Bracknell and Worcester is proving difficult, Court Hill near me is a middle ground?

guys, remind me to read this thread more often! October has been and gone...didn't see it...sorry!

Definately still up for an inter club; just last night 1 of the WRP7 guys asked if there were any retro tournies that we could play in. I'd be happy to play host if the lionhearts are willing to travel upto Worcester. We have 4 tables so could accomodate 16 players (4 groups of 4). With Maidenhead being March, how would you guys feel about sometime in the summer 2013?

I'll have a word with our guys next time I see them. There a a few that don't like retro, but then again ther are a few that don't like modern slidey so I'm sure we can get enough players

Can always mix it up, Adam, as a few Lionhearts play both?

Plus, I don't mind pitching my retro bases against modern. It's just another opportunity to flick as far as I am concerned.
